Welcome! My name is Dale, and this is my playground for words and pictures.

Here, you will be able to find posts about my writing, trips, art, my thoughts on things and all sorts of other stuff.

For a day job, I work for a large company in the leisure sector as a software engineering manager. (It might sound fancy or scary, but mainly it involves angry typing, too many spreadsheets and far too many meetings.) I’ve been a professional software developer for a long time, but have also done many other things for a living.

I live here in the UK with my family, and also have friends and family around the world. I generally enjoy people, countryside, sea, food (both cooking and consuming) and lots of interesting (to me, at least) activities such as electronics, writing, painting and much more.
